(ok the way this class works is that you don't have to say ''such and such entered the room and sat down and began to work''. You all start off present inclass. This is also question and response..therefore that is how the class will run)
Upon seeing all his students enter promptly to the first lesson he smiled and stood up. "good day class." he said in a casual tone and started walking around the room. "I'm glad to see you all here on time. Welcome to astronomy! The studies of the heavens and the stars..This class will be simple as can be. I would like to start today by just introducing to you what astronomy is. Now. Can anyone define the word astronomy for me?" he said as he got ready to write it on the board.

Gitsy yawned and placed her head in one hand, the other raised.
" The scientific study of matter in outer space, especially the positions, dimensions, distribution, motion, composition, energy, and evolution of celestial bodies and phenomena." She smirked, lowering her arm, and brushing her silky brown hair out of her cold aqua eyes.

"Those are just a few. Can anyone tell me what they mean? Any of them? I know this doesn't seem relevant but it is important to understand before we get into the magical part of it. "
